Happy Easter Friends! I hope you all have a happy and blessed Sunday with your loved ones. This year has me working hard behind the scenes getting new ideas on both branding and selling. I haven't lost touch with my crafting/decorating passion. Even though, I have been working less on craft projects to work on new material, I know it's important for me to do in order to reach my 2016 goals.
Happy Easter Decorating/Crafting my Friends!
Hello Friends, Happy Easter! Hope you are all looking forward to Easter Sunday. Over on my end, I'm trying out my Meri Meri Easter Egg Hunt Kit in our backyard, and I can honestly tell you, this KIT is awesome! Those little bunnies look so cute out on our lawn, I just love'em!
Hip Hop Hooray, It's Almost Easter Day!
Hi Friends! Want to get the scoop on how to create your very own Easter Bunny Clay Dishes? Click here.
Hello my friends, just want to give you a little peek of my Easter Mantel, it's so last minute and simple, but, as I said before- "this year Easter really snuck up on me!" If you are also having trouble coming up with a simple solution to a quick and simple Easter Display- go dig out a few of your Easter decorations and just go with it -make it simple and sweet and don't stress on the details to much.
Hope you all have a very "HAPPY EASTER" everyone! As I can imagine many of you are getting ready for Church tomorrow and soon after head off to attend or host a gathering of some sorts this Sunday, enjoy your day and God Bless!
As you may clearly see, I'm no cake decorator -still that doesn't stop me from trying NEW things! Friends -I'm sorry their is no awesome recipe for me to share here -other than those found on the Cake Box.
For this easy to make at home Mini Easter Bunny Cake, I went with a Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting (Betty Crocker brand), Super Moist Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix (Betty Crocker brand), Edible Easter Grass in Green Apple Flavor (Target), Milk Chocolate Solid Rabbit 100% All Natural NIAGARA Chocolates (World Market) and little Temptations Jordan Almonds (T.J.Maxx).
I used a 4" Round Cake Pan I found/bought at T.J.Maxx for under Seven dollars. I know this is very similar to those other Bunny Cakes floating around the internet- but, I couldn't resist and had to create one of my very own. I cut my Edible Easter Grass and instead if sprinkling it all over my Mini Cake, I wanted to give the look of tall grass, hid a few eggs and left the Bunny in the Center of the grass field.
I know my Mini Bunny Cake looks a bit funky- but it's not what's on the outside that counts, it's what's on the inside - of course I had to say that in my defense, haha. I'm a crafter not a Cake Decorator -obviously. Either way, it was fun to bake with my 9 year old today, Alison baked her very own cake too and tonight we get to enjoy and share these little cakes with the rest of the family.
Hope you get inspired to make your very own Homemade Easter Bunny Cake too. Let me know your thoughts or maybe you would like to share your ideas with me? As always, I'll see you soon!
